Northfields, Ealing – Loft conversion & Kitchen extension – Amiee, Rohan & Ren<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n After relocating from East London to West London\u2019s Northfields five years ago, Amiee and Rohan \u2014 originally from Canada \u2014 quickly settled into their new home. As a young family with relatives regularly visiting from abroad, space was becoming a challenge.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOur home was getting a little cramped when family came to stay,\u201d Amiee explains. \u201cWe wanted to create our own space, somewhere guests could be comfortable, and also give ourselves a bit of breathing room.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>In addition to extra accommodation, Rohan was eager for his own \u2018man cave\u2019 and home office \u2014 a space that, since being completed, has also become a perfect working spot for Amiee.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The couple approached the project with care, reaching out to six local builders for quotes and advice. \u201cWe found that some firms only specialised in loft conversions, but we wanted a company that could offer more as we wanted to add a kitchen extension (once budgets allowed) and handle the project end-to-end.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It was a Lindum Lofts & Extensions sign spotted nearby that first caught their eye. spaniel Duffy for just 9 months when they made the decision to extend into the loft space to create a large master bedroom together with a luxury en-suite bathroom.<\/p>\n Ken started an extensive renovation.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ian and Natalie had lived in their house for over 22 years and had refurbished some 15 years earlier. They wanted to make use of their side alley (in-fill) and create a new room from their existing garage but didn\u2019t want to lose the storage space. The build involved a 3-meter kitchen extension and 3-metre new garage.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The West London couple had carried out a lot of research beforehand; they had approached 4-5 other builders for quotes. their\u00a03-bedroom\u00a0Northfields Edwardian house just over 10 years ago it was absolutely perfect.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Now jump forward to January 2021 and their now 4 children (two of whom are now teenagers) arrived at the decision that they\u2019d\u00a0prefer,\u00a0if\u00a0possible,\u00a0not to share bedrooms.
